Childs Elementary

The purpose of the Childs PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience of each student at Childs Elementary, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, to support community building for the children, staff, and educators, and to contribute positively to the overall environment at Childs Elementary through volunteer and financial support.

 

• Carnival - The Carnival is the biggest fund raiser and a great Childs community event. Each classroom has an activity or game and there is a silent auction and raffle to raise additional funds.
• Dine & Donate- Dine in or carry out at a select restaurant and a percentage of the sales are donated to Childs.
• Box Tops for Education - Clip and save the box top from General Mills products marked "Boxtops for Education.”

Classroom Volunteer: Talk to your child's teacher to learn about ways to help in the classroom.

School Appreciation Events: Show Childs faculty and staff that you appreciate all of their hard work by helping with various appreciation events throughout the year.

PTO Meetings: Attend PTO meetings to share your feedback and connect with other families. Meetings are announced on the Childs Elementary Facebook page.

Carnival Classroom Representative: Sign up to coordinate carnival games for classrooms.
